The 10-week offers an outlet for productive families and will showcase a wide range of products encompassing everything from home-cooked food and desserts, home-brewed coffee, and homegrown fruit and vegetables to handcrafted scents and garments.

DGDA’s National Day agenda has been meticulously organized and planned to mirror the feeling of harmony and national pride evoked during this holiday.

The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) has welcomed the designation of Diriyah as the Capital of Arab Culture for 2030, announced by the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). The selection recognizes the city’s distinguished standing as a timeless symbol of the rich culture of Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East, as well as its remarkable history and civilizational heritage that are still influential today.

o reflect Diriyah’s historical significance as a gathering place and crossroad of cultures, the dining area has been designed using the traditional Najdi architectural style and building methods in a pedestrianized, al-fresco atmosphere.

In a landmark step for the development, Diriyah Gate ‍Development Authority (DGDA) announces its future 15,000 square metre upscale dining destination as part of the transformation of the historic city of Diriyah, located 15-minutes north-west of Riyadh city centre.

Diriyah Gate, a sweeping 19th century adobe city that is the birthplace of the Saudi nation, will be soon unveiled to world leaders and notable guests as a major educational, cultural, recreational, and hospitality hub on the banks of the Hanifa Valley in the heart of the capital city of Riyadh.

On the 11th  of December until the 14th of December, 2024, Bujairi Terrace became a center point for the Kingdom’s celebration in its historic achievement to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. This milestone came after Saudi Arabia’s bid received the highest technical evaluation in FIFA’s history, reflecting the Kingdom’s leadership role and the transformative renaissance it is experiencing across all sectors.

The entire ambient lighting of Bujairi Terrace and Salwa Palace unified into a single color of green – the color of achievement for the future. Visitors were welcomed with a variety of activities and events, allowing them to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of celebration, pride, and hope for a bright future. In a place of culture spanning hundreds of years, the festivities were as historic as the achievement itself.

The traditional Saudi Ardah dance set the tone for excitement and pride, welcoming visitors to Bujairi with a performance that celebrated our achievement, all against the backdrop of Diriyah’s historic legacy. The performance repeated every hour, ensuring that all visitors could enjoy this iconic cultural expression throughout the celebrations.

The Walls of Bujairi Terrace and Salwa Palace Narrated the Future

The walls of Bujairi Terrace and Salwa Palace proudly displayed the Saudi World Cup bid logo through stunning projection mapping, creating a visual masterpiece that intertwined the past and the future. This display symbolized the unity of two eras under one unyielding ambition – an ambition that built a heroic history and will forge an inspiring future.

Visitors also explored key highlights and facts from Saudi Arabia’s bid, displayed on informational panels scattered throughout Bujairi Terrace. These panels showcased the reasons why Saudi Arabia’s bid received the highest technical evaluation in history.

Bujairi Terrace hosted a dedicated fan zone celebrating Saudi Arabia’s 2034 World Cup hosting victory. A giant soccer ball adorned the space, inviting visitors to leave their congratulatory messages and aspirations for the Kingdom’s future. This symbol of achievement reflected the pride of a nation preparing to welcome 48 countries along with their teams and fans, introducing them to our rich hospitality and culture.

Every visitor in Bujairi received a miniature soccer ball to personalize their experience and aspirations for the Saudi national team’s participation in the 2034 FIFA World Cup. The visitors also received a scarf decorated with the official Kingdom’s 2034 FIFA World Cup bid logo, commemorating this historic moment.

The festivities were brought to life with a live musical performance featuring iconic national sports anthems, creating an unforgettable memory of pride and joy for everyone in attendance.

This celebration was more than an event; it was a testament to the Kingdom’s forward-looking vision and the boundless potential of its people and culture.
