What lies behind the door? Diriyah Doors exhibition will open the door to your cultural curiosity, inviting you to study and reflect on the ideas, symbolic meaning and legacy of Diriyah and the Najd region’s brightly colored, patterned, and engraved doors.

Nadji doors are considered one of most iconic architectural and artistic elements in the region. Curated by art historian Dr Eiman Eljibreen with renowned artist Ali Alruzaiza, this landmark exhibition aims to shed new light on these historical treasures and draw attention to Diriyah’s rich cultural heritage.

The exhibition displays doors loaned from private collectors, as well as newly commissioned Diriyah legacy-inspired artworks by some of the most significant artists in Diriyah and its diaspora, and an inspiring program of talks and workshops for the art-interested to the arts professional.
