Projects Worth 64 Billion Riyals Turn Historic Diriyah into a Cultural and Tourist Destination

Diriyah Gate Development Authority's outlook revealed the modern features of this ancient place in history to become in the future an historical, cultural and touristy destination at the international level, and a story to be narrated to generations on the biography of the homeland and its loyal men since the founding of the first Saudi state.

"Diriyah" was established on the banks of Wadi Hanifa in 1446 (850 Hijri) until this auspicious era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, so that as the past meets with the present in a unique reality of contemporary life.
